Mate, if you haven’t been to Babylon Park London yet, you’re seriously missing out! Took the kids last weekend, thinking it’d be just another play area, but wow—it’s like stepping into a neon-lit space station run by aliens who really know how to party.

The rides? Absolute madness. The arcade? Addictive. And the kids? They lost their minds (in the best way possible). One minute they were zooming through a mini roller coaster, the next they were battling in some high-tech VR world. Meanwhile, I was reliving my childhood on the classic arcade games. 10/10, would totally “lose” them there again for a few hours.

Hidden gem, for real. Camden’s full of cool spots, but this one? Next level fun.

London is an incredible city, full of opportunities, culture, and excitement. But no matter how much we love it, there are moments when we just miss home. Whether it’s the familiar streets of our hometown, family gatherings, or even just the food we grew up with, homesickness can hit unexpectedly.

For me, staying connected to home has always been important. Sometimes, that means cooking a favorite meal from back home, listening to music in my native language, or catching up with friends and family over video calls. But over the years, I’ve also found ways to make London feel more like home – discovering cozy spots that remind me of my favorite places, building friendships with people who share my culture, and even creating new traditions here.

💬 What about you? How do you deal with homesickness? Do you have any special rituals or places in London that bring you comfort? Share your experiences and tips – your story might just help someone else feel a little less alone in this big city. 😊

👋 Hey everyone, welcome to People of London!

I’m Stanislav Mitov, the creator of this community and a long-time Londoner. Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, I moved to London in 2010, and since then, this city has become my second home. I run my own business and love exploring London’s hidden gems, from cozy cafés to street art-filled alleys.

I started People of London because I wanted to create a space where locals, expats, and visitors can share their experiences, stories, and insights about life in this amazing city. Whether you’ve lived here for years or just arrived, this is your place to connect, share, and be part of the community.

So, tell us your London story! Where are you from? What do you love most about this city? Looking forward to hearing from all of you! 😊
